    EXCELLENT CONDITION!
    I purchased this hand-held bulk eraser new to use with 4-5 reels of recording tape each week and used it for several years, after which time it was stored in a drawer in my desk. The protective red felt fabric on the bottom of the unit was replaced once, using the extra replacement pad which came with the unit.
    The Fidelipac is a professional unit and is hefty - weighs about 4 pounds. It has a "momentary-on" rocker switch, which means it will stay on only as long as you depress the switch.
    The specifications state that this is a 5-minute on and 15-minute off thermocouple-protected unit and that it is rated at 1550 gauss at 1/4" from the center of the base.
    I have always used and kept this unit in a
